The Penrose Triangle is named for the mathematician Roger Penrose who was fascinated by 3d shapes and geometry. This paper project brings the impossible illusion to life – almost! Viewed on a screen, or with one eye closed, the model maintains its mystery but with two eyes, the secret is revealed.
What appear to be a collection of nine impossibly placed cubes turns out to be nine hollow shapes.
The project comes as a downloadable pdf with parts and instructions ready for you to print out on your home printer. Cut out the parts and glue them together following the step by step instructions to make your own Penrose Triangle illusion.
