Early Bird.

At ratchet driven paper animation to download and make, rock and handle back and forth and the early bird struggles unsuccessfully to pull the reluctant worm from the ground. The mechanism runs with a satisfying "Tick! – Tock!" as the ratchet mechanism works. You can follow the development of the Early Bird model on the Workshop Notes blog.
