Leaf Bow
The Leaf Bow is inspired by the quiet tumble of autumn leaves, twisting gently as the season leans toward winter. A blend of #STEAMjunk (bead and wire mechanism) and #WildMaking (the use of a real leaf), it’s a build that feels both playful and quietly satisfying.
The project uses a simple bow, paper clip wire and an elastic band, to spin a vertical shaft, sending the leaf into its gentle dance. It comes as a downloadable PDF with fully illustrated, step-by-step instructions. As always, premium members can download the file for free by adding it to the cart and checking out.
