Shop Work

Tue, 22 Feb 2011

I've spent the last couple of days adding projects from the blog to the shop.

Each item has to be individually added to the database. There are loads of information fields from 'Add to Cart' details to the price to the description of the item. The good thing about it is that once details are in the database I can display the however I want. I can use the same entry to display a grid of products as well as an individual product page. Here's the data entry page – sideways so that you can see it all. You can see now, why it's taken me two days! It's tedious, but it has to be done.

Tomorrow I'm taking #1 Daughter to another University interview, Graphic Design at Chester this time, then I'll be back for some more paper engineering. Woo hoo!

is it just you doing all this

is it just you doing all this on the web page on my laptop, doing all these models juggling the running of it all and answering questions …like this one….. or …. does mrs  'rob true love' run it with you…. or…..is there a 'rob team'. I'm only asking cos I'm nosey like that and have taken all the unseen running of this for granted.
