Polishing up the website

Thu, 1 Jul 2010

I've been putting some last touched to the website today – including the comment bubble in the picture. Thanks to everyone who has sent feedback, I really appreciate it! I'm slowly but surely working through my list of things to do. If you see some thing drop me an demail or add a comment to this post.

Oh, and I've fixed the membership button which I'd managed to break. I was wondering why nobody had joined in the last few days, turns out the monthly membership button linked to a rather unfriendly Access Denied error. All sorted now.

And finally, the new design for the web site is now fully live! Fingers crossed.

    Hi Rob,

well done with your new website. Looks great.

By clicking through the pages, I found some minor things, which you should check:

    – in the shop the access to the Christmas special is denied.

    – by clicking on the title of a blog/workshop entry (i.e. "polishing up the website"), I receive "The requested page could not be found"

    – in "contact settings" of my account the "personal contact form" is not working (access denied)

All the rest works fine, as I can see.

    Best wishes,

Thanks for the feedback – I have fixed the Christmas Special Collection – I'd actually turned it off until a more appropriate time of year but the link was stil showing in the shop. I'll have to work out how hide it in the shop view.

The link to individual blog entries now works properly.

Can't work out the contact form. It works fine for me. I'll keep checking on that one.

I've also fixed it so that when you log in you are taken to the home page rather than your account page.
