Giraffe Layout Complete

Fri, 6 Aug 2010

I've completed the parts layout for the forthcoming Giraffe model. It's one of those where it has slightly too many parts of four sheet but not quite enough for five. I might try a bit of scaling to tidy it up.

I'm now experimenting with creating giraffe skin textures in photoshop.

<—–edit ——–>

Making some progress with giraffe skin texture. That's if for one day though- off for a nice glass of red.

Night all.

    Love the tree-hugging giraffe

Love the tree-hugging giraffe photos, Rob. But somehow I just can't shake the feeling that the "facts" are not quite right.

As to the pneu-giraffe – it looks great. But how about making the "blow-hole" round so a straw can be inserted for blowing? Putting lips to the box to blow air into the tube isn't all that appealing and besides sometimes the nose gets in the way. Just a thought.

      I suspect some

I suspect some PhotoShopery on the tree giraffe!

I could put a star shaped hole at the bottom of the box so you could use either a straw or blow directly. Good idea Deal.
