How did you brace such a long

How did you brace such a long crank coolie?

My first attempt of Rob's model I printed on 90gsm card by mistake and it was too flimsy to push the rods up.

2nd attempt is in progress. The first one at least gave me the measurements of how far the rods move so I can scale the characters I want to use on it.

yes thats a problem i found

yes thats a problem i found the crank was working fine for a while but then it got off balanced and came apart but i think it was the box that warped because i didn't strengthen the corners of the box very well and thats what made the crank off ballance.i have a redesign in mind too so when i get a chance i will see if that works.
