Ginger, the cute papertoy cat is adapted from the character in a paper animation kit I’m working on at the moment. I’m making this version of the cat available as a quick project for members to download and make. Thanks for signing up!

Print out the single parts sheet onto thin card. (230 micron / 67lb)

The head, tail and front legs pieces are all double thickness card. Fold them over and glue them down. Set them aside to allow the glue to dry.

Once the glue is dry carefully cut out the parts.

Fold forward the rear feet as shown.

Fold forward the front feet in the same way. There is a dotted line on the back of the leg to use as a guide. The foot pads should be facing downwards.

Roll round and glue together the body tube.

Fit the back legs piece to the body tube so that the join running along the body tube is facing downwards.

Glue the front feet into place as shown.

Complete the cat by gluing on the head. Line up the bottom edge of the head with the bottom of the body tube.

Meow!
