Tiger Skin rug! Don't worry it's not made from real tiger skin. 

The tiger effect is for a project I'm working on with my friend in Japan, can't say much more than that I'm afraid.

The effect is actually one of the textures that comes supplied with Illustrator but I've un-packed the pattern and changes the colours. You'll also notice that I've rotated the pattern through ninety degrees where it joins the legs.

The whole thing is then enclosed within a clipping path. Quite an interesting process, I might have to do a tutorial for the design process section, which currently contains only one item.The shame of it!
