Hello Rob,
I saw a hopping bunny in our yard and to my surprise I thought about a circular disk, a bunny on it, a stationary cam profile - when handle rotates the disk, the bunny hopes riding the cam. The idea is similar to a marry-go-round but if the profile is uneven enough, the bunny may catch some life. Of course, the stationary cam idea is from your mechanical gentle man. Not sure, if pendulum could be an added value to a hopping bunny on a cam.
If this idea sounds too simple to you, how about a hovering eagle in the sky who scoops only to miss the bunny (or just to scare the audience) when it cleverly disappears into the ground?
I hope and wish your website becomes more and more popular.
Regards,
Urmish

The membership fee is more than worth it...I get a lot of fun from your site... a small portion of it I dont understand (all that geeky maths stuff) but you dont mind me ignoring all that boring stuff do you (yes I know the library). ... I like making the models...
There are a lot of nice people who pop in and out ... the forums a great place to see what else is around and to see what others are interested in...
but.... i love the models ...most make me laugh in some way or another..
So in short you'l be glad to know your worth it... and I am privileged to be able to help in a very small way
may your glue never dry up... and your scissors never go blunt..... T.

Rob, how about a quick tutorial to help out the non computer savy members to contribute.
It took me a few go's to work out how to upload pictures when posting to the site.
Perhaps a quick run through, what the button bar does, and how to use it.

I uploaded it as demo of how to add images and links to the comments in a website. I'll shortly be uploading a tutorial explaining how it is done.
Thanks Smelter. Good idea.
