quick return mechanism

Hello -

I'm new to these forums & just downloaded and built the quick return mechanism featured on the mechanisms page. I have run into a problem with the pin escaping from the hole in the drive wheel when turning the handle on the drive shaft. Initially the drive shaft wouldn't do a complete rotation, so I widened the slider a bit to loosen the movement along the rod, which helped, but I'm still unable to complete a rotation of the drive shaft without the pin coming out of the hole in the drive wheel.

Any idea how to solve this?
