Back to the Watt/Geneva project. I'm going for a pyramid theme rather than the original dino egg look. (The mechanism will be available for anyone who wants to add their own dinosaur.) The top of the pyramid will lift up to reveal the eyes. I've been working out the dimensions of the various parts using Pythagoras. He was a clever chap! 

The palm tree is a simple fold of card with three paper leaves glued to the top. It works quite well I think.
