Friend of the web site, Smelter, has taken delivery of his shiny new credit card sized Raspberry Pi computer. He has it all set up and connected to the internet. As Smelter says,
"When you've a new toy, and you want a web site to visit, where you gonna call?"
Nice one Smelter!

This is a bit off topic but... Did anybody else notice the flying pig during the opening of the Olympics on TV when the camera came down the Thames? It was right after the Helicopter. Nice product placement Rob!

Not wishing to spoil your allusion, but the Pig over "Tate modern" formally Battersey Power-station, is a reference to the Pink Floyd album "Animals" where there is a song called "pigs on the wing", a political song about the government we had here in the 1980's

Come on Smelter... Don't muck up my praise with your facts. That's not half as much fun. OK, thanks for telling me the truth about the pig. I have to go out and find the Pink Floyd album now.
But I prefer to believe that Rob was so clever that he encouraged Pink Floyd to produce song and the album that lead to the flying pig balloon. Then planned his website, before the invention of the internet, so it could be promoted by the 2012 Olympic opening ceremonies.
Of course if you don't think that he is that clever...

Actually, I prefer your version.
As they news papers say, never let the facts get in the way of a good story ;-)
