Colour version of the Newton's cradle, you can just make out the drive linkage on the top of the rear hanger of the centre ball.

I've now boxed this up with the Sleep model and sent it to the folks at Ivy Press. Finger's crossed for a positive outcome.

As I mentioned before, this is part of a proposed book called Office Automata, or some such. Other models in the book, should it come to fruition, could include a desktop trebuchet or catapult, a smartie/m&m dispenser, a yes/no decision maker and perhaps a model of a person banging their head on their desk. (I remember staff meetings)
